What is the difference between KVM, Virtualizor, Proxmox, and SolusVM?
KVM is a Linux kernel-level hypervisor that gives each VPS its own isolated kernel and hardware passthrough — the gold standard for performance and security. Proxmox is an enterprise management layer on top of KVM with web-based VM management, clustering, and snapshots. Virtualizor is a commercial VPS control panel that lets end users reboot, reinstall, and snapshot their own VPS from a GUI. SolusVM is the older-but-still-popular panel used by many providers for KVM and Xen. SylhetHost lets you choose any of the four when ordering.
Can I really pay in BDT (Bangladeshi Taka)?

Do I get full root access?
Yes — every VPS includes full root (Linux) or Administrator (Windows) access from the moment it boots. We do not restrict what you run inside your VPS as long as it complies with our acceptable use policy.
How fast is VPS deployment?
Most VPS plans deploy in 30-90 seconds after payment confirmation. The system automatically picks a fresh IP, mounts your chosen OS template, boots the VM, and emails you root credentials. Windows VPS takes a little longer (5-10 minutes) due to Windows Setup.
What storage do you use — HDD, SSD, or NVMe?
All SylhetHost VPS plans use enterprise NVMe SSD storage in RAID-10. NVMe is roughly 5-7x faster than SATA SSD and 30-50x faster than HDD in random I/O. This matters most for databases, virtualization, and concurrent users.
Is there DDoS protection included?
Yes — every VPS includes baseline DDoS protection up to 20 Gbps at no extra charge. Higher tiers (100 Gbps and 1 Tbps) are available as add-ons. Protection is always-on and automatic; you do not need to enable it during an attack.
Can I upgrade my VPS later without losing data?
Yes — you can upgrade CPU, RAM, or storage at any time from the client area. The system shuts down the VM, resizes the resources, and boots it back up. Your data, OS, and configuration all stay intact. Downgrades are also possible but require a storage shrink (we coordinate that with you).
Do you offer snapshots and backups?
Yes — every VPS includes free weekly off-node snapshots (kept for 14 days). You can also take on-demand snapshots from the control panel at any time. R1Soft daily backups with 30-day retention are available as a paid add-on.
Which operating systems can I install?
